The mission of the American Lung Association of Maine is to lead in lung health promotion and lung disease prevention for Maine.

 

Since 1911, the American Lung Association of Maine has led the fight against lung disease.

 

The American Lung Association of Maine fights lung disease through research, legislation, and education.

 

Our work impacts every Maine community and we are proud to say that nearly 90% of our funds stay in our state. The remainder is used to support national education, research and public policy programs. We are not a state agency and we do not rely on state funds. The American Lung Association of Maine is supported by private donations and volunteers – people just like you.
