Trek Across Maine - Sunday River to the Sea
June 13-15, 2008

2008: A non-refundable, non-transferable $50 registration fee must be paid at the time of registration and each Trekker is required to have a fundraising minimum of $500. You can register online or email Trek to receive a hard copy of the form. Once you have registered, you can use our online services to promote your fundraising and to track your progress.

2008 Route & Available Accommodations Information

The Regular Route:

Day 1 ride Sunday River to UMF sleep at UMF (approx. 60 mi)
Day 2 ride UMF to Colby College sleep at Colby College (approx. 60 mi)
Day 3 ride Colby College to Belfast (approx. 60 mi)

Available Accommodations for the Regular Route: choose camping and be at one with nature, bundle up with your new Trek friends and your own air mat on the floor of the gym/fieldhouse on campus, or you can make your own arrangments off campus! ALAME provides shuttle services to and from Trek approved area motels. The dorm beds are now full at both UMF and Colby College campuses.

The Colby College Loop route – limited to 200 riders:

Day 1 – ride Sunday River to UMF – shuttled to Colby College to sleep (approx. 60mi)
Day 2 – ride Loop Route around Waterville area – sleep in same room at Colby College (approx. 44 mi)
Day 3 – ride Colby College to Belfast (approx. 60mi)

Available Accommodations for the Colby Loop Route: choose from gym/fieldhouse (bring your own small air mat), camping, or make your own arrangements off campus. Dorm beds are now full.

*Although the routes are different on Day 2; on Days 1 & 3, everyone rides together.

Dorm Bed Waiting List! We will begin to take names for the waiting list on Thursday, June 12, 2008 at 2pm. This is when Check-In begins for the event. Beds are not guaranteed and the list will be capped at 200. In the meantime, we suggest choosing one of our other Trek accommodations listed above.
